I wrote this poem the other night, thought I’d share it:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Sunset throws its long rays across the page,<\/p>\n
Slipping away as the quiet hall, full of voices, fills.<\/p>\n
The shining orb sinks beneath the window,<\/p>\n
And streetlights twinkle silently across the valley.<\/p>\n
The bright hall sighs and turns the page.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Somewhere walkers taste the starlit air<\/p>\n
And feel alive with summer on their skin.<\/p>\n
The moon waxes and wanes above them,<\/p>\n
The hall empties and fills, like the breath<\/p>\n
Of a silent giant’s sleeping calm.<\/p>\n
Dawn gathers her strength in the east, and<\/p>\n
